Courses may be added or dropped at any time during the first two weeks of a term. Courses dropped after that will normally result in a grade of No Credit; exceptions for unusual circumstances require the joint approval of the instructor, the student's advisor or graduate committee (depending on the program) and the Dean of the School of Graduate and Advanced Studies. All course changes after two weeks are made through the School of Graduate and Advanced Studies..
