Have you ever wondered whether you're coming or going?! Your brain has a lot to do with how you know up from down, and Max Mehlman, PhD candidate in Psychological and Brain Sciences program (PBS) knows a lot about that!

The drugs don't work. Or do they? Emily Stephens is also a PhD candidate in the PBS program and her work focuses on how the chemicals in the brain respond to certain anti-depressant drugs.

Come along to this month's Brain Buzz to learn more about how the brain is studied and what the science of the brain can tell us about how we move and act in the world.

Brain Buzz is a free monthly event hosted at the Upper Valley Food Coop in partnership with the School of Graduate and Advanced Studies and the Vermont Institute of Natural Science.
