Former National Security Advisor and U.S. Ambassador to the UN
Tuesday, October 24th
6:30pm
028 Silsby Hall

Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice will join audiences in over 80 locations across America for a live “town hall” event on China and the complex U.S.-China relationship and its influence on the U.S. economy, policies, and security, on October 24. The eleventh annual CHINA Town Hall is presented by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. Attendees will submit questions to Ambassador Rice, and each venue will have an expert speaker on-site to discuss issues of interest to the local community. The national webcast with Ambassador Rice will be moderated by National Committee President Stephen Orlins.

China’s emergence as a global power, role as an important trading partner and potential collaborator in key U.S. global policies ensures that U.S.-China relations will affect the lives of every American. CHINA Town Hall will help audiences around the country to understand the challenges and opportunities of what has been characterized as the most important bilateral relationship of the 21st century.

Adjunct Professor of Business at the Tuck School of Business Giles Chance will provide introductory comments at 6:30pm. The interactive webcast will run from 7-7:45pm. A Q&A will follow for 30 minutes with a panel of discussants.
