This year, the Kull family will press the button to light up the giant evergreen. Joining Dean of Graduate Studies Jon Kull '88 will be his wife, Angela, and their daughters, Layne, 8, and Claire, 6.

Christmas carols will be sung by members of the Lebanon, N.H.-based North Country Community Theatre group. Hot chocolate and cookies will be available at the gathering.

The tree lighting is timed to take place on the same evening as the Hanover Chamber of Commerce’s “Celebrate the Season” holiday event, which features activities, performances, and shopping specials from 4 to 8 p.m.
