2022 Commencement Address by Russell Wilson

The Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies at Dartmouth will host an Investiture Ceremony for its graduating Master's and PhD students on Saturday, June 11.

The ceremony will take place at 4:00pm on the College Green
(Severe Weather Location: Spaulding Auditorium)

Reception to follow at 6:00pm on the Class of 1978 Life Sciences Center Lawn.

• If you ordered your regalia to be "shipped to school", it will be available for pick up beginning June 9 at the Hop Garage 132 through Saturday.  Hours are 9 am – 4 pm. You will receive directions on how to hold your hood and hand it to the person who is hooding you. If you miss this, be sure to ask someone to show you before Investiture begins.
• The best parking will be Dewey Lot and Maynard Lot. If you have guests with limited mobility – they can be dropped off by car at the Green so they do not have to walk. There will not be a shuttle running on Saturday.
• Line up for Investiture starts at 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon in front of Wentworth Hall. PLEASE make sure you have your GOWN, HOOD, HAT AND TASSEL with you! We do not have extras!
• You will be given a name card with a specific line-up order for hooding and photography  – please stay in that order!
• Amy Gallgher will email all Spring graduates soon about how to obtain their diploma.
• Those of you how are also attending Commencement will receive Sunday's instructions via email -- please keep an eye on your inboxes!

Rehearsal for Guarini School Graduate Investiture Ceremony

If you are attending the Guarini Graduate School Investiture Ceremony, please plan to attend a rehearsal on the College Green. We will provide details for the Saturday ceremony, walk you through the hooding process and answer any questions.

Please try to be on the sidewalks in front of Wentworth Hall at 12:45 pm to begin the rehearsal.

This rehearsal is not required, but is recommended.

Caps and gowns are worn with appropriate attire during the Investiture ceremony on Saturday and during the Commencement ceremony on Sunday.

The cost for Masters regalia is $49.50. The PhD souvenir regalia package is $65.00 (Tam, Hood and Gown can be purchased individually). Custom fine quality PhD regalia can be purchased: Gown $570.00, Hood $164.00 and Tam $134.00. PhD regalia rentals are not available this year.

The last day to order custom fine quality doctoral regalia is April 23, 2022. Your fine-quality, custom Ph.D. regalia can be shipped to a domestic U.S. address for a $19.95 shipping and handling charge. There is no shipping or handling fees for regalia shipped to the HOP for pick up between June 9 and June 11, 2022. You can ship your regalia internationally for a $60.00 shipping and handling charge. Please note that international shipping times vary and that ordering for international shipping less than a month before commencement does not guarantee you will receive your regalia in time for commencement.

The last day to order master and doctoral souvenir regalia to be picked up at the HOP at Dartmouth is May 5, 2022. There is no shipping or handling fees for regalia shipped to the HOP for pick up between June 9 and June 11, 2022.

The last day to order master and doctoral souvenir regalia to be shipped to your home is May 20, 2022. There is a $15.95 shipping and handling charge for domestic shipping. You can ship your regalia internationally for $60.00. Please note that international shipping times vary and that ordering for international shipping less than a month before commencement does not guarantee you will receive your regalia in time for commencement.
