Making a poster for the Graduate Poster Session? Working on a thesis or
dissertation? Avoid pitfalls by learning about your copyright, author rights,
and responsibilities in using materials in all stages of your work. Find out
when you need permission to reuse a figure or graph, what uses you can make of
data generated in your lab, and how to determine if you have rights to reprint
a journal article you authored. We will use case studies drawn from the subject areas in which
Dartmouth offers Masters and Doctoral degrees, so will include discussion of
software and other kinds of materials. This interactive workshop is for graduate students. Bring your examples and questions! Individual
consultations from 1-1:30
