Bike, walk, row, or golf to raise funds for Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Fight cancer by signing up today at www.TheProuty.org.
The Prouty is a two-day athletic event that raises funds to benefit Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Center (NCCC), one of 49 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the country, and the only one in northern New England.
The Prouty™ began in 1982 when four NCCC nurses, inspired by the courage of their patient, Audrey Prouty, committed to cycling 100 miles through the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Nearly 90 cents of every dollar raised stays at Norris Cotton Cancer Center to fund cancer research seeking better ways to diagnose, treat, and prevent cancer. Research conducted here makes a difference in the lives of cancer patients all over the world. Money raised also funds patient supportive services that help ease the way for patients and families struggling with cancer.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
