McKinley Brumback (she/her) graduated from Dartmouth in June 2020 with a PhD in Physics and Astronomy. Prior to Dartmouth, she received a bachelor of science from Hamilton College with a major in physics.
She currently works as a postdoctoral research associate at Caltech in high energy astronomy, where she is investigating the behavior of matter found in the strong magnetic and gravitational fields surrounding neutron stars with X-ray spectral and timing studies.
