Grace is often considered to be an elusive quality held by professional dancers or those with a natural ability. But what if we thought of grace as the product of efficient movement. How can this be cultivated through specific awareness of the body? Pilobolus Artistic Director Renée Jaworski facilitates an hour-long movement workshop exploring the inner workings of grace and the power of proprioception.

Following the workshop will be a free public discussion with Renée, clinical researcher Mardi Crane-Goodreau and movement practitioner Kate Gamble. The three will reflect on the embodied exercises from a somatic perspective and discuss approaches to harmonic movement and efficiency in the mind-body.

This event is presented in partnership with Open Door Integrative Wellness and will take place outdoors in Lyman Point Park, 167 Maple St, in downtown White River Junction, VT. Learn more here
