Student Health Insurance
All Dartmouth students are required to have health insurance coverage, please visit this site to learn about requirements and enrollment in the Dartmouth Student Group Health Plan. All students are automatically enrolled unless they fill out the waiver form.
Most students are able to get renters insurance through their auto insurer, and this is likely the most cost effective coverage. If you don't have access to renters insurance via your auto insurance, Dartmouth does offer a Renters Insurance Program. Shop around to get the best deal, but most students report paying under $160 per year. Students report using the following agencies:
- State Farm (overwhelming majority, and there is a local office in Norwich, Vermont. Students reportedly pay around $110 per year through State Farm)
