Housing

Many students choose to live on campus; however, there are several options off campus.

Upper Valley Housing Resources

Finding housing can be a challenge in the Upper Valley. We suggest you begin your search right away. Typically, students share an apartment or house to save money. Keep in mind that most landlords require the first month and the last month's rent in advance. As you search for housing, here are some useful websites that our current graduate students find helpful:

Facebook

Many graduate students post sublets, inquiries for roommates, and furniture for sale in the Dartmouth Graduate Student Community Facebook group. Ask to join.

Slack

Guarini has a Slack workspace for all of its graduate students. Some of the channels are used to post housing availability, ask for roommates, and more. Incoming graduate students will automatically be placed in this workspace in June. For questions, please contact Associate Dean Kerry Landers at kerry.h.landers@dartmouth.edu

Dartlist

Dartlist is a website for exchanging second-hand goods between Dartmouth community-members. This site has a lot of postings for available housing and students looking for roommates. Log in using your NetID.

Real Estate Office

Dartmouth's Real Estate Office can connect students with on- and off- campus housing. Check out their website or email questions directly to real.estate.office@dartmouth.edu.
