Kudos 2022

Luke Fannin won a Lewis and Clark Fund for Exploration and Field Research Grant, titled "In the footsteps of Lewis and Clark: Ecology of competing photosynthetic pathways across North American grasslands".

Madi Gamble was awarded an NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship. She will work with Suzanne Alonzo, Eric Palkovacs, and Carlos Garza at UC Santa Cruz to understand the evolutionary causes and ecological consequences of alternative reproductive tactics in Steelhead trout.

Ryan Calsbeek, Laurel Symes, and Francisco Javier Zamora-Camacho have a new paper in Ecology Letters and nice coverage in NY Times. Link

Elliott Steele was recognized by undergraduates as an outstanding graduate student teacher and was awarded the Best Graduate TA for his work on Bio FSP. 

Kristen Jovanelly has been awarded a 2022 Graduate Student ESA Policy Award. Link
