My research focuses on understanding how avian communities are structured and how they respond to changes in landscape and climatic conditions. I am a field ecologist who collects data to test predictions from ecological theories and understand the mechanisms driving changes in avian community. Given that ecological data collection can be labor-intensive, I am interested in integrating datasets from multiple sources and using technological advances in data collection (especially of passive acoustic monitoring) to understand ecological patterns and processes.
