Enrollment Verification

An enrollment verification officially verifies that you are enrolled at Dartmouth College. You may need to provide this information for insurance coverage, loans, study away, ski passes, athletic participation, etc.

Get Your Verification Online

You may obtain a free verification of your current enrollment, or your entire enrollment history, on BannerStudent, provided that you have entered your social security number into Banner.

If you would like a paper form, contact your school's office.

Your verification includes

  • All your enrollment information on file with the National Student Clearinghouse (name, current enrollment status, and dates of enrollment)
  • Student loan deferment notifications sent to your loan holders by the Clearinghouse
  • Proofs of enrollment the Clearinghouse has provided to your health insurers and other providers of student discounts
  • Contact information about your lenders

These forms do not include GPA or verify enrollment past the term for which you have registered for classes. If you require academic information, such as a "good student discount," you must request an official transcript.

Insurance

After you have enrolled at Dartmouth, you may request an enrollment verification for your insurance company. You may print the verification and attach it to the form the insurance company has provided. This is typically accepted by most agencies. The form includes a space at the top where you may enter policy/account information.
