Important Dates

Fall 2026 MCB Orientation will begin Tuesday, September 1st. We recommend new students arrive no later than August 30th to get settled in.

Rotation #1 September 15 - November 27

• September 1 - Begin talks with faculty
• September 9 - Lists due to the MCB Office
• September 11 - Rotation matches announced

Rotation #2 November 30 - March 5

• November 9 - Begin talks with faculty
• November 18 - Lists due to the MCB Office
• November 20 - Rotation matches announced

Rotation #3 March 8 - May 28

• February 16 - Begin talks with faculty regarding Rotation #3
• February 24 - Lists due to the MCB Office
• February 26 - Rotation matches will be announced via email

Thesis Lab Matches

• May 10 – Begin talks with your rotation advisors
• May 19 – email MCB office your preferences for thesis lab by 2:00 p.m.
• May 21 – Matches will be announced via email
• Thesis work begins May 31st!

MCB Retreat will be September 3 and 4th, 2026 at the Mountain View Grand Resort.

Virtual interviews will be held in January and in-person Accepted Student Weekend(s) in March 2027. Check back for dates! 

2026-27 Academic Term Schedule

• Summer Term - classes begin June 24 and final exams end Sept. 1
• Fall Term - classes begin Sept. 14 and final exams end Nov. 25
• Winter Term - classes begin Jan 5 and final exams end Mar. 16
• Spring Term - classes begin Mar. 29 and final exams end June 8
