MCB Welcomes New Cancer Biology Ph.D. Program

The MCB graduate committee, department chairs and the NCCC director are pleased to announce the final approval of the Cancer Biology (CANB) PhD program led by Steve Leach. The CANB program will represent an equal partner alongside BIOL, BCB, M&I and MSB under the MCB graduate program umbrella and will be recruiting new students this winter through MCB. We look forward to the many ways that this expansion to our program will enrich our community. A number of CANB faculty members have already been unanimously approved to train students towards obtaining a PhD in Cancer Biology. Current PEMM students directed by these faculty members may choose to transfer to MCB and begin participating in MCB events in the near future.
