Camilla Bobrowicz

Smith Lab

Camilla graduated from McGill University in 2025 with a First Class Honors B.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology. During her undergraduate studies, she explored diverse research projects, from ALS modeling in zebrafish to mRNA vaccine development for the parasite Cryptosporidium parvum, and investigating the mobility potential of circular group II intron RNAs in Lactococcus lactis. These experiences sparked her interest in developmental and cellular biology, and she is eager to continue pursuing interdisciplinary questions as she rotates through different labs during her first year in the MCB program. Outside the lab, Camilla, a Polish native of New Hampshire, enjoys reading mysteries, doing jigsaw puzzles, and talking about her cat Alf.
