Alvin A. Morales-Giron

Alvin graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Biology in 2023. After graduation, he joined Dr. Ryan Corcoran's laboratory at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, where he investigated how cancer cells adapt to targeted therapies by remodeling the RAS/MAPK and PI3K/mTOR signaling pathways. In Dartmouth's MCB program, Alvin hopes to deepen his training in molecular and cellular biology. In particular, he aims to elucidate how signaling pathways become dysregulated and how these alterations contribute to disease development and progression. Outside the lab, he enjoys playing soccer, supporting F.C. Barcelona, watching anime, hiking, and playing Nintendo games.
