Anja Holtz

Anja Holtz received her dual Bachelors of Science degrees in genetics and ecology at the University of Minnesota in 2017. While at the University of Minnesota she worked in Douglas Yee's lab at the Masonic Cancer Center to elucidate the relationship between growth hormone receptor and chemotherapy resistance in ER+ breast cancers. After working in Dr. Yee's lab she moved to California to work for a small immune-oncology company, Tempest Therapeutics. Her time at Tempest Therapeutics led to a personal interest in immunology and oncology, which is why she chose Dartmouth to pursue research under one of the many esteemed immunologists. In her free time Anja loves rock climbing, hiking, and walking her golden retrievers.
