Berglind Bjarnadottir

Berglind received her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Iceland. During her undergraduate studies she worked in the Heiðarsson lab researching pioneer factors and she spent one summer at Caltech researching p97 nuclear trafficking. Berglind is a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship Award. She is interested in researching proteins and to gain further understanding of their structure and roles in the cell. Outside of school she likes to swim, do yoga, play classical music on the bassoon, and spend time in nature.
