Casey Latario

Ross lab

Casey graduated from Grove City College, then began work as a laboratory technician in the Higgs lab at Dartmouth College. After three years studying a pancreatic cancer cell line, Casey transitioned to graduate school at Dartmouth. Now in the Ross lab in the Microbiology and Immunology department, Casey's work is focused on the type VI secretion system employed by gut bacteria in the human GI tract. Beyond the lab, Casey enjoys painting, skiing, woodworking, playing bass guitar, and making kombucha.
