Cecilia received her B.S. in Biomolecular Sciences from Central Connecticut State University. At CCSU she played Division I golf and engaged in various science research projects in developmental biology, analytical chemistry, and microbiology. Her current work in the Cramer lab focuses on the discovery and characterization of novel antifungal compounds to treat Aspergillus fumigatus infections. She recently received the 2022 John H. Copenhaver, Jr. and William H. Thomas, MD 1952 Fellowship. Outside of lab, you'll find Cecilia playing guitar, hosting Taco Tuesday for her friends or going on outdoor adventures with her beloved dog Sawyer.
