Cuixin Lai

Cuixin grew up in Guangdong province, China. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Linnan Normal University and her master's degree from Shantou University with a major in Biology. She was working on genetically encoded fluorescent protein for biosensor as a research assistant in Piatkevich Lab, which is from Westlake University in China. Cuixin is interested in neuroscience and stays interested in phosphorylation signaling. She will rotate in Gerber Lab for the fall term to learn more about the mechanism and regulation of phosphorylated kinase. Outside of the lab, Cuixin enjoys movies, live-house and cocktails. As Cuixin is a picky eater, she is trying to cook for herself to survive.
