David graduated from Ohio State with a degree in chemical engineering. While there, he studied cell reprogramming and regeneration, developed biological sensors, and studied propulsion systems. At Dartmouth, David studies the evolution of antibiotic resistance using custom-engineered culturing systems, microfluidics, and software. David also received the Innovation Program Fellowship and uses the research funds to develop diabetic technologies. Outside of lab, David likes to hike, play sports, and nap with his two cats, Olive the Cat and Winona Whiskerbaskets.
