Dimitri Koliopoulos

Hello! I am from Tucson, Arizona, born and raised, and I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2023 in Molecular and Cellular Biology. While at Arizona, I worked in a plant pathology lab diagnosing fungal pathogens in crops across the southwestern US. After graduation as a research technician, I was studying the interactions between human cytomegalovirus and host protein pathways. These opportunities allowed me the freedom to ask questions, design experiments, and find answers, leading me to where I am now! Outside of lab, I am an avid sports fan, both playing and watching (basketball, football, soccer, combat sports, racing, etc) and I always enjoy finding new topics to learn about and explore!
