Fraser is from the Boston area and graduated with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!). At UConn, Fraser conducted research at the Center for Vascular Biology at UConn Health under Dr. Mallika Ghosh. Here, Fraser identified positive feedback mechanisms in macrophage giant cell (MGC) fusion in response to foreign device implantation and their implications in post-surgical chronic inflammation. Fraser has also worked in the pharmaceutical sector in Discovery Immunotherapy at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine analyzing cutting-edge T cell engagers for cancer treatment. Given these experiences, Fraser plans to take his interests in cancer, autoimmunity, and neuro-immunology to the MCB program at Dartmouth. When he's not in the lab, Fraser loves experimenting with cooking and baking, and getting outdoors on the ski slopes and hiking trails!
