Hyuk "Jim" Jee

Curiel lab

Jim is originally from Seoul, South Korea. He double-majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minored in Theatre at Loyola University Chicago. After, he worked as a Research Assistant/Lab Manager in P. Lee lab at Boston Children's Hospital. He joined Darthmouth MCB in 2021 and is in the J. Lee lab at Thayer School of Engineering. Using single-cell RNA sequencing approach, Jim is doing a study on characterizing the antibody repertoire between the mucosal and systemic immune systems upon respiratory tract infection. Outside of science, he is an avid podcast listener, reader, writer, and a skincare enthusiast. He also enjoys exploring different recipes in the Italian and Korean cuisines.
