Jaimie Anissa Thibeault

Jaimie received her bachelor's degree in Biology with a concentration in Biotechnology from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2022. Her undergraduate research included using lichen to evaluate the contents of heavy metals in the air from different areas of Massachusetts, and analyzing the effectiveness of cleaning products in disinfecting bacterial cultures while prioritizing non-toxic chemicals. After graduating, she spent over 4 years at Sanofi's mRNA Center of Excellence, where she evaluated how UTRs and other mRNA sequence elements affect translational activity for all mRNAs generated for Sanofi's vaccine projects and platform development. Jaimie's research interests include all things related to cell biology and RNA, but she's excited to explore the many options within MCB. Outside of the lab, she loves crafting, spending time outdoors, figure skating, thrifting, trying new coffee shops, and taking pictures with her many film cameras.
