Julianna Donohoe

Bomberger lab

Born and raised in Oregon, Julianna graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in microbiology and a minor in chemistry in 2019. She then worked as a research assistant in an orthopedics lab at Oregon Health and Science University before coming to Dartmouth and joining the Bomberger lab. Julianna is fascinated by the interplay between the immune system and invading pathogens and is currently working to better understand these host-pathogen interactions in the genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Her work focuses on the immune-metabolic changes of the CF lung environment during viral bacterial coinfections. In her free time, Julianna loves exploring the great outdoors with her dog, reading, baking, and traveling.
