Kaylyn Clairmont

Kaylyn received her BS in Biology from Carnegie Mellon University in 2021. Her interest in molecular mechanisms of disease has centered around cancer and neurodegeneration, studying the role of DNA repair in cancer through undergrad, and protein quality control in neurodegenerative disease as a laboratory technician. Kaylyn is excited to join the MCB community, and learn more about cell function through collaboration and investigation of novel pathways in modeling disease. In her time away from lab, Kaylyn will likely be found outside, exploring on bike or foot, rowing, or reading a book.
