Malavika Sabu earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan, where she explored the Wnt signaling pathway. She later worked as a research technician at Columbia University studying Alzheimer's disease, and most recently as a Senior Associate Scientist at Waypoint Bio, focusing on cell therapies. She is interested in learning to combine computational techniques with her wet lab skills. Outside the lab, Malavika loves reading, painting, and unwinding with TV shows and anime.
