Myana Keusch

Skopelja-Gardner/Goodrum Labs

Originally from Concord, NH, Myana moved to Canton, NY to earn their B.S. in Biomedical Science with a minor in Philosophy at St. Lawrence University. During their time at St. Lawrence University, they worked in Dr. Alexander Schreiber's comparative endocrinology lab, observing the synergistic effects of glucocorticoids and thyroid hormone on Xenopus laevis metamorphosis. After graduating, Myana completed a year-long postbac program at Dartmouth College. There, they worked on a project in Dr. Pamela Rosato's lab observing the potential therapeutic role that bystander activation of cancer-nonspecific CD8+ T cells residing in the melanoma tumor plays in tumor control. When they are not in the lab, Myana enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, playing the violin, and going to live music events.
