Natasha Kelkar

Natasha graduated with a BS-MS dual degree in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. At Dartmouth, Natasha is being mentored by Prof. Margaret Ackerman. Natasha's research project focuses on developing and using computational tools to identify potential correlates of protection for low efficacy vaccine field trials of infectious diseases like HIV-1, tuberculosis etc. Additionally, she is also working on understanding complement pathway mediated immunity, and is engineering some antibodies to enhance complement mediated lysis. Outside the lab, Natasha enjoys hiking, watching movies, scouting new food places.
