Nicole earned her B.S. in Biology from Northeastern University, where her passion for research began to take shape. Following graduation, she joined the research community at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, investigating genetic modifiers of a trinucleotide repeat expansion disorder and exploring pathway crosstalk between a lysosomal storage disorder and related neurodegenerative disorders. Her interests span molecular biology and neuroscience, with a focus on how molecular processes influence neural systems. Passionate about interdisciplinary scientific inquiry, she values the integration of diverse scientific perspectives to address complex biological questions and hopes to explore different research areas as an MCB student. Outside of her academic endeavours, she enjoys running and reading.
