Rachel Saxe

McKenna lab

Rachel graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from Tufts University in 2019 where she received the Thomas Harrison and Emily Leonard Carmichael Prize Scholarship and Highest Thesis Honors. She was elected as the 2021-2022 MSB Student Representative, during which she served on the MCB Graduate Studies Committee and was selected as an MCB Fellow. As a member of the McKenna lab, Rachel's research focuses on using dynamic lineage tracing and next-generation sequencing to track clonal evolution of cancer in response to treatment. Her overarching goal is to understand how selective pressure from cancer therapeutics can change disease landscapes. Rachel's hobbies include studio art and hiking.
