Sophy Vuong

Sophy is originally from New Jersey, where she graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2024. Following graduation, she spent two years as a research technician in Lindsay Case's lab at MIT. As an incoming MCB student, Sophy is excited to deepen her understanding of molecular and cellular mechanisms and to explore new questions at the bench. Beyond science, Sophy enjoys traveling to new places, cooking, arts and crafts, and taking care of her plants.
