Tolulope Ojo

Tolulope Ayoola Ojo is a first-year PhD student in the Biochemistry and Cell biology program. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in biochemistry from Landmark University, Nigeria and a Master's degree in biochemistry from The Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. Her past research explored antioxidant chemistry and the mechanisms driving thiol redox systems, particularly in the context of disease pathogenesis, progression and therapy. Currently, she is interested in investigating druggable targets for cancer treatments. Outside academic activities, Tolulope enjoys hiking, meeting new people and lawn tennis.
