Zachary Peters

Skopelja-Gardner lab

I graduated from Middlebury College in February of 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Afterward I stayed on at Middlebury, working as manager of Dr. Grace Spatfora's lab, which investigates the etiological role of Streptococcus mutans in dental caries. Since Fall 2019 I have worked as a research assistant in the Geha laboratory at Boston Children's Hospital. There, we used mouse models to elucidate the underlying cellular and genetic mechanisms of primary immune deficiencies in children. Outside the lab, some of my hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking and playing soccer.
