[more]We welcome back Pam Rosato, Ph.D., MCB'15, to MCB as a new faculty member of Microbiology and Immunology. Pam is originally from Massachusetts and received her bachelor's degree in biology from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She then spent a year at the Ragon Institute in Boston as a technician. She earned her Ph.D. from the lab of Dr. David Leib, studying neuronal innate immune responses to herpes simplex virus. Pam then moved to Minneapolis, MN where she trained as a postdoc with Dr. David Masopust at the University of Minnesota.
[more]We are pleased to welcome Amanda to the MCB Program. Amanda has joined the Biological Sciences Department as Assistant Professor.

[more]Chaya Patel, Ph.D. student in David Leib's lab, has an article published in Journal of Virology in May 2020 titled "Trivalent Glycoprotein Subunit Vaccine Prevents Neonatal Herpes Simplex Virus Mortality and Morbidity".
