About

Engineering MS and PhD graduate degrees at Dartmouth are administered through Dartmouth Engineering and formally awarded by the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies; engineering graduate students are therefore members of both schools.

Graduate Programs

Master of Science (MS)

Emphasizes innovative research, applied mathematics and advanced levels of engineering skills, extensive project management experience, and depth with breadth across disciplines.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

In addition to coursework, students undertake a multi-year research project working with a faculty mentor who sponsors the student in the program.
