"Participants particularly liked getting insider information on the industrial hiring process," says postdoctoral student Katja Koeppen, one of the organizers. "People repeatedly remarked how helpful and informative they found (Tringali's) practical advice and interactive presentation style."

Working with Koeppen in organizing the event were Aaron Atkinson and Kurt Dahlstrom, both from the Geisel School of Medicine.

Eighty attendees came from the College, including participants from Geisel, from life sciences area, and from the chemistry department.

"The attendance was overwhelming," Dahlstrom says.
