Graduate students in the Digital Musics Program recently traveled to Cologne, Germany, to install their new sound installation, Singer. The installation was chosen by a jury to be exhibited in a public space as part of the 2014 Eight Bridges: Music for Cologne festival.
[more]Eighteen Dartmouth students and alumni have received prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships (GRF) for 2014. They are among 2,000 winners drawn from an applicant pool of more than 14,000. An additional 19 Dartmouth applicants were accorded honorable mention in the competition.
[more]More than 40 graduate students presented their research—with topics ranging from understanding obesity to mapping HIV antibodies to measuring nanoparticles—to faculty members, their peers, and others in the Dartmouth community during the April 8 Graduate Poster Session. The event was one of the highlights of Graduate Student Appreciation Week, held April 8 through 11. Awards were presented to the following graduate students for their posters:
