Join us for a new program series designed to celebrate public art around campus.
Amelia Kahl, Barbara C. and Harvey P. Hood 1918 Curator of Academic Programming, and Hélène Gillette-Woodard, Department Head of Objects, Williamstown + Atlanta Art Conservation Center
In this segment, we will explore Thel (1975–77), a steel and grass sculpture by artist Beverly Pepper (1922–2020). Following a brief pre-recorded introduction, Amelia Kahl and special guest Hélène Gillette-Woodard will hold a live extended conversation and Q&A about this sculpture and the efforts to conserve it.
