A four-part workshop for first and second year graduate students interested in applying for a NSF GRFP Fellowship for submission to the October NSF GRFP deadlines

Primary Course Objective: By the end of the course, you will have in hand strong drafts of the Graduate Research Plan Statement and Personal, Relevant Background and Future Goals Statement of your grant, for submission to the October NSF GRFP deadlines.

E-mail a copy of your Research Plan to Dr. Bieber by days end on Sunday, August 15

On Monday, August 16, you will receive an email with copies of two of your peer’s Research Plans. At class on August 18, you will be assigned to provide brief feedback on those plans.

Your submitted Research Plans will be discussed and critiqued

Assignment for August 25

E-mail a copy of your Personal Statement to Dr. Bieber by days end on Sunday, August 22

On Monday, August 23, you will receive an email with copies of two of your peer’s Personal Statements. At class on August 25, you will be assigned to provide brief feedback on those statements.
