Guarini School Celebrates Postdoc Appreciation Week 2024

The Guarini School's Postdoc Appreciation Week 2024, held from September 16-20, celebrated the achievements and contributions of Dartmouth's postdoc community with a series of engaging events.

During a special research funding and grant writing resources panel, presentations from the Grant Proposal Services Initiative; the Office of Sponsored Projects; the Irving Institute; the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations; and the Technology Transfer Office offered information for securing funding, navigating grant applications, and leveraging institutional resources for postdoc research projects.

Beyond the professional development opportunities, the week included a variety of social events to foster community. These included a reception at the Dartmouth Outing Club house, a special letterpress orientation, a pizza and game night, and an afternoon of canoeing and kayaking on the Connecticut River, offering a blend of relaxation and camaraderie.
