Guarini Welcomes New Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Affairs

We are pleased to welcome Amy Keeler to the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies as the new assistant dean for graduate student affairs, reporting to Associate Dean Kerry Landers. Amy's role will focus on supporting career and professional development programming for graduate students and postdocs, and she will serve as the advisor to the graduate student council. She will start in this position on November 11.

Previously, as Director of Career Services at Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering, she led department-wide strategies, delivering career advising, impactful programming, and professional development for graduate students, alumni, and engineering majors. With a decade of services at Dartmouth, Amy has contributed in such roles as DEI Ambassador, Campus Climate and Culture Initiative Ambassador, and was part of the Inclusion Champions pilot program. Recently, she completed the Dartmouth LEADS program, enhancing her leadership skills to support students and staff.
 
An active member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Amy holds a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in environmental sciences and is a licensed teacher in New Hampshire. Outside of work, she enjoys mountain biking the Trescott trails, hiking with her puppy on the Appalachian Trail, and spending time with her two kids and her partner of 20 years.
