[more]Dartmouth graduate students serve a variety of roles on campus, from teaching assistants to collaborators in the high level of academic research being done at Dartmouth. Graduate Appreciation Week, which will take place May 2 to 7, features activities to both raise awareness of and celebrate the academic contributions that graduate students provide to the Dartmouth community.
[more]Science students from Stevens High School in Claremont, N.H., and Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, Vt., will come to Dartmouth on February 23 to share the results of their research on mercury in the watersheds of New Hampshire and Vermont. The students participated in the Twin State Mercury Project, part of a larger regional mercury project supported by Acadia Partners at the Schoodic Learning Center in Maine’s Acadia National Park and led by Sarah J. Nelson of the University of Maine (Orono).
[more]The inaugural USA Science and Engineering Festival, held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on October 23 and 24, attracted around half a million attendees who interacted with 1,500 exhibitions, including four booths hosted by Dartmouth faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students.
