[more]Representatives from the Dartmouth Graduate Student Council (GSC) recently attended the 2018 Ivy+ Summit. The Summit was hosted by Cornell University on October 26th through the 28th in Ithaca, NY, and is held each year to bring together graduate students from similar institutions to share experiences and discuss challenges and achievements from the prior year. Ten institutions were invited to the summit, including Cornell, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, Brown, MIT, Dartmouth and the University of Chicago.
[more]A “Circle of Safety” was the topic of the monthly lunch with the Graduate Student Council (GSC) executive board and Dean of the Guarini School, Dr. Jon Kull. Circle of Safety refers to a concept created by Simon Sineck, which is the topic of his 2014 Ted Talk found here.
[more]The Dartmouth Graduate Student Council (GSC) represents all graduate students from the Frank J. Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies, Thayer School of Engineering, and The Dartmouth Institute. We consist of elected representatives from each department in these schools and meet each month to make decisions on how to create a better community for graduate students at Dartmouth.
