    Graduate Student Appreciation Week is an annual event organized by the School of Graduate and Advanced Studies. The week, which runs from April 2-6 this year, is packed with fun, engaging events and treats in recognition of the work and contributions of graduate students at Dartmouth. Perhaps the highlight of the week for everyone is the Poster Session, which brings together students, faculty, and staff from across the programs in celebration of graduate student research.

  • Graduate Student Appreciation Week, April 2-6

    Graduate Student Appreciation week kicks off today in recognition and appreciation of the academic and social contributions the graduate student community make to the Dartmouth community. This week the School is partnerning with offices and programs across campus to provide free events, lunches, and professional opportunities to grad students.  DDS will offer free coffee at all it's locations all week and today (April 2) lunch at 53 Commons is only $5 for all grad students.

  • Fun and Games with the Graduate Service Team

    Hanover, New Hampshire is a completely different world than the one from which I came. Having previously lived in one of the poorest states in the country—in a city riddled with crime, Hanover and the surrounding area initially appeared to me to be a glittering world of prosperity. It wasn’t until well into my first year at Dartmouth that I began to notice a disparity between Hanover and nearby towns.
