The Guarini Diversity Award is designed to recognize outstanding leadership and determined efforts by graduate students in addressing and raising awareness about issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion across campus and in our community. Departments, individual faculty members or administrators, and graduate students are eligible to propose a recipient in the form of a letter of nomination.

In collaboration with the Graduate Student Council, the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies celebrated the graduate student population with a number of events and surprises across campus during the first full week of April. This was the first time in two years the annual celebration was able to be held in person. All week, events were held to demonstrate appreciation for the work of the graduate students in labs and classrooms, and the many contributions they make in support of the academic and social community at Dartmouth.

Graduate Student Appreciation Week is an annual event organized by the School of Graduate and Advanced Studies. The week, which runs from April 2-6 this year, is packed with fun, engaging events and treats in recognition of the work and contributions of graduate students at Dartmouth. Perhaps the highlight of the week for everyone is the Poster Session, which brings together students, faculty, and staff from across the programs in celebration of graduate student research.
